Visit the Pre-Raphaelite Collection

There is a range of Pre-Raphaelite works of art on display at Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery. There are two dedicated Pre-Raphaelite galleries, an Arts and Crafts gallery and a gallery devoted to Edward Burne-Jones.

If you plan to journey to Birmingham to see a specific work of art please contact us in advance as occasionally a particular work of art may be out on loan or in conservation.

Visit the Print Room

You can see the works on paper on this website via the Print Room. This service is a dedicated space for looking at prints and drawings. These works can be seen studied at close quarters. Visitors can ask to see any object of their choice.

Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery has some 30,000 works on paper ranging in date from the 15th century to the contemporary period, and including the major holding of Pre-Raphaelite drawings. These collections can be seen by members of the public through the Print Room service.

The print Room is open from Monday to Friday, 10am – 5pm. Visitors should be aged 14 or over. Organised small group visits for schools, colleges and adult groups can be arranged.
