Arthur Hughes

Painter and illustrator. Arthur Hughes met Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828-1882) in 1850 and soon became the best of the younger Pre Raphaelite followers. His work is noted for the magical glowing colouring and delicate draughtsmanship.
