This is a woodblock designed by Burne-Jones and printed as no 68 in the series of wood engraved illustrations for 'Dalziels' Bible Gallery. Although the majority of the designs were executed in the 1860s, the bible was not finally published by George Routledge & Sons, London until 1881. Birmingham's collection has two copies of this volume.
