Width: 222 mm Height: 273 mm InformationThis study is used in the painting and tapestry of 'The Attainment: The Vision of the San Graal [or Holy Grail] to Sir Galahad, Sir Bors and Sir Perceval'. The chalice is used as the actual Holy Grail, on the altar of the Chapel of the San Graal, and is quite prominent in the images. The tapestry, woven by Morris & Co., is part of Birmingham's collection, 1907M131, as is the watercolour (c. 1890-91), which is BMAG 1949P6.
