Information

Burne-Jones is wrong about the page from which the candlestick is taken in Viollet; it is volume 2, but not page 56, it is page 55. The reliquary is also annotated by Burne-Jones, from Viollet, volume 1, page 231, and it is figure 14 on that page. The middle study to the right, is of a brooch from the 12th century, from Viollet, volume 3, page 9, figure 7.
