Information

The figure of Christ is stretched out full-length, with His head on the right. Around are seven figures of mourners, one of whom, in the centre foreground, is kneeling in front of a basin. This is possibly a study for the bronze relief on the tomb of the 8th Earl of Carlisle (1879).
