Information
This is a study for the north transept, west wall, of Jesus College Chapel, Cambridge. A note in William Morris' hand on the reverse reads: 'These designs will go by the side of the 3 theological virtues designed by you so long ago. I send you one of them to remind you of the fashion thereof. There also should have the ...vices under foot'. This is a scale drawing.
