Information

This painting is a typical example of Brett's coastal landscapes. The brilliance and luminosity of the colours together with a loving observation of the rock formations are the most obvious legacy of Brett's Pre-Raphaelite association. An old label revels the title: 'Southern Coast of Guernsey fom the Cliff over Moulin Huet/ July 1875'.
