Information

This is a drapery study for the figure of the Madonna in the cartoon 'Oure Ladye of Saturdaye Night' which Brown completed in 1847. During this period he Brown lived in several lodgings: in early 1847 he was in Kensington, having previously stayed with a brother-in-law in Blackheath. LM
