Information

A study for the fourth painting in the series of seven canvases illustrating 'The Story of St George' for the dining room of the artist Myles Birket Foster, at Witley, Surrey. This appears to be a study for the figure of the first of the female attendants. The original oil painting of 1866-67 is now in the Collection of Lord Lloyd Webber.
