Information
A study for the fourth painting in the series of seven canvases illustrating 'The Story of St George' for the dining room of the artist Myles Birket Foster, at Witley, Surrey. It seems quite likely that this study relates to the princess in 'The Princess Led to the Dragon'. The original oil painting of 1866-67 is now in the Collection of Lord Lloyd Webber.
