A study for the frontispiece to Christina Rossetti's 'The Prince's Progress and Other Poems' (published by Macmillan and Co, 1866) which illustrates the line 'The long hours go and come and go'.See object numbers 1904P406-413 and 1904P418-431 for Rossetti's other designs for 'The Prince's Progress'. This is more finished, with title letters, than 1904P426.
