Information

A study for the frontispiece to Christina Rossetti's 'The Prince's Progress and Other Poems' (published by Macmillan and Co, 1866) which illustrates the line 'Too late for love, too late for joy'. This is the fifth sketch for the woodcut.See object numbers 1904P406-413 and 1904P418-431 for Rossetti's other designs for 'The Prince's Progress'.
