Information
One of Rossetti's rare life studies, this seems to relate to the drawing of St Elizabeth of Hungary (1904P374). On the reverse of the sheet is a larger drawing of a seated male nude, which appears to be a study for Dante in the 1852 watercolour 'Giotto Painting the Portrait of Dante' (Private Collection).
