Information

One of three studies for the figure of St Christopher in Birmingham's collection. This is a study for the cartoon for the centre light of the south aisle window in All Saints' Church, Wigan, Lancashire, executed in 1868. A similar study is in a private collection in Carlisle, reproduced in Harrison & Waters, figure 124.
