Female Nude - Study1864 – 1865 Accession number: 1904P126 Black and white chalk on brown paper, laid down. Width: 162 mm Height: 365 mm InformationOne of a number of nude and drapery studies in Birmingham's collection, originating from a sketchbook. The pose is very similar to a drapery study for 'The Garland Weavers', although here the hair does not appear to be bound up as it is in the former drawing.
