Width: 153 mm Height: 330 mm InformationOne of a series of female drapery studies, originating from a sketchbook, for an as yet unidentified subject, although possibly a female saint or martyr of the early Church. The figure wears drapery similar in style to ancient classical costume, with one shoulder exposed, and there is a sketch of a nimbus around the left side of the head.
