A single photogravure, from a leather bound portfolio of 91 photogravures of original paintings. The folio is signed by Edward Burne-Jones' son, Philip. It is one of an edition 200.The original watercolour from which this photogravure was taken is now in the Collection of Lord Lloyd Webber.

The original watercolour from which this photogravure was taken was created in 1865 and is now in the Collection of Lord Lloyd Webber. The design appeared repeatedly among paintings in both oil and watercolour, as well as pencil, pen and ink and woodblock creations executed by Burne-Jones beginning in 1863, in preparations for William Morris' illustrated poem from 'The Earthly Paradise'. In BMAG's collection, there is an individual woodblock design with this image c. 1864 (1913P162), and it also features in both the watercolour and oil scheme designs for 1 Palace Green, Kensington, also in BMAG's collection (1922P189 and 201).
