Information

This is a preparatory study for 'The Morning Star' or 'Stella Matina'. The finished version was executed in 1879, in black and blue chalk, and is now in the possession of Torre Abbey, Torquay. It was a design for stained glass commissioned by Angus Holden for his house in Yorkshire.
