Width: 150 mm Height: 198 mm InformationSandys was a prolific illustrator for books and magazines during the 1860s, the heyday of wood engraving. This design was engraved (in reverse) by Joseph Swain for 'Once a Week,' 28 April 1866 with a poem by Alfred B Richards. Here the prophetess Cassandra berates Helen of Troy by pointing to the city which burns as a result of her infidelity.
