Information

The Christian cardinal virtues of Hope, Faith and Charity (Spes, Fides and Caritas) became the subject of a three-light window by Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co in the nave of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. Each in turn was turned into a watercolour in beginning in 1867 until 1872. This drawing relates to this process.
