Information
This drawing is an example of the technical and investigative qualities of Ruskin's drawings. He used drawings like this to highlight the beauty of medieval architecture and detail. They functioned as documents of buildings that were unnoticed in his own time and were being ruined through neglect or alteration. This work was previously known as 'Details of a Venetian Palace above the Rialto, and 'Ca' da Mosto'.
- Presented by Mrs Arthur Severn, 1902.
